Yesterday evening, after finding the wee pebble with my 10x42 binoculars, I took a few snaps with my 1000D and 75-300mm. Full zoom, f5.6, ISO 400 and 0.6 sec (IIRC):

The rig was moving about a fair bit but I did manage to get a couple of decent snaps, of which this seems the best.
