Hi all, I know it's another post about this but I thought I would ask a more general question as I expect (or should I say hope) that all Meade equipment has the same connector with the same polarity.

To be more specific I have a Meade 4504 but no battery box which in anycase was 10xAA and didn't last too long. I want to replace it with a decent size battery box but I need to know whether the connector was tip +ve or tip -ve.
