SW Field Flattener, Equinox 80, Atik 314L+ and Atik MFW?

Hi there - I have a couple of mini hardware projects on my mind... This is the first:

I fancy the idea of putting my 314L+ through the Equinox 80, but I in order to get a flat field, I'm going to need a flattener. So, as the SW FF gets a pretty good review, I thought that was a good place to start (as I don't really want a reducer...)

HOWEVER, I noticed in the blurb that it seems to geared towards DSLR imaging - Has anyone used a SW FF with a CCD camera (does it need an adapter to attach?) and, does anyone know if I'll need any extension tubes / spacers to achieve focus when using the filter wheel?

(Alternatively, can anyone give any advice on using flatteners with an Atik camera and a filter wheel?)
