Nexstar handset for a CG5-GT mount

I appear to be missing some settings on my Nexstar handset, that I use on my CG5 GT mount.

I should have, in the utilities menu a "POLAR ALIGN" section, however it is missing. The correct sections are displayed which should be either side of it (home position & light control).

I am running the latest version GEM 4.16, which should have this section.

I have searched on the Celestron site but no luck finding any info.

Any idea's anyone?

I don't know all the ins&outs of this handset. But sounds like perhaps the handset thinks it is on an alt-az type mount, rather than EQ.

Don't know though how you tell the handset what mount it is on.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon.
