DSLR Filters

Probably a silly question but how does a filter such as Astronomik CLS fit on to a dslr if you are doing prime photography?

Where do you put the 1.25" filter?

If its a clip filter it fits inside the camera over the sensor. If it's a disk filter then they might screw into the 2" to 1.25" adapter ?

Does the Astronomik CLS clip filter work with a Sony Alpha DSLR? I thought they were only compatible with Canon?

Otherwise a 1.25" will be ok.

I beleive they only make EOS clip filters for Canon Cameras

The clip are, I'm sure only for Canon bodies. For Sony, you'd need to use either a 1.25" which will work, used to do that myself on my Konus, or a 2" which would be better as it pretty much does away with vignetting.
