Light Pollution filter advice

Recommended Posts

I am looking at a Baader Neodymium 1.25" as a Light pollution filter for the SW Evostar 120mm.

In Milton Keynes the night sky is distinctly orange colur due to light pollution.

This this filter good?

Thanks

Andy

i have this filter and a skywatcher lpf they both good i use them on a 90mm frac which kills it a bit because it also cuts light from stars as well on the reflector 12" no probs it makes planets 100% better i see the red spot on jupiter just the other morning,i can see the banding on saturn and cassini div i some times use it when photograph in the moon ,if i use the webcam the moon and planets are much betterif i get a chance tonight a may do a few pics with a few "lpf filters "and post them to ya so you can see the differnce cheers pat

just a thought do you no any one that could lend you one for a day or 2?
