Astromoo36
what are the best deep sky objects to view with binoculars?
Telrad
There are loads of open clusters and globular clusters well within the capabilities of 15x70 binos. You should be able to pick out the Dumbbell neb and a few galaxies (M31, 81, 82).
brantuk
Beehive is a good binocs object, also plieades, andromeda galaxy, orion nebula, albireo (double star), have a pan around the plough and cassiopea - lots of stuff to see there - some of these you'll have to wait for later in the year
ronin
Astromoo, can you put you location in your signature?People are giving DSO's to look at here but one of your posts say that the southern cross is a definite to look at, or that you are intending to look at it. Something very much along the lines of you are off to peer at it.So you would have to be in the Southern hemisphere for that. This makes me think that giving you a list of Northern hemisphere objects could be a waste of time.
