do you use a light pollution filter for visual use ?

I'd love to get some feedback from LPF users. I have heard that they should be specific to the lightning used in the observing area.

If the feedback is positive I'd also be interested in one.

It'll help to know what 'scope you've got and what kind of LP conditions you have, so we can better advise you.

Some filters are "gentler" and better suited to smaller 'scopes/low levels of LP, others are "harsher" and work better in larger 'scopes/can deal with worse LP.

At the end of the day though, filters are a very personal choice. Just like EPs, what suits one person won't necessarily suit another, even under the same conditions.
