Yes,

We can create and store a few thousand atoms of anti-hydrogen, and this is a big step forward -- however; we are very far away from usable anti-matter technology ala Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons".

If we created 5000 atoms at a time and stored them, we would only have to do this a billion trillion times (10^20th times!) to have a gram of the stuff.....

I guess the Vatican doesn't have an anti-matter bomb hidden under a cathedral somewhere!

Yes, as with most major steps, its a little step. Only time will give us the ability to harness these discoveries
