John Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 I bought a C8+ with a RA drive but without the Astromaster computer about 3 years back. It was a private sale and cost £350. That was a good buy but these models are 10+ years old. IMHO you would be buying an optical tube assembly as you have no guarantee on how long the mount will go on working and if it develops a problem you are in difficulties as spares for older mounts of that type are going to be very hard to get hold of.One for a Celestron C8 specialist perhaps ?.
