I've added 1h 48min of 2 min subs to my original 3h 0m of 5 min subs and spent rather too long (!) processing it. I think that I have done as much as my skills and experience will allow.

Good detail there, but as you probably know it is a bit blue. Try adjusting the colour balance in your processing software. If the background goes blue, try masking it out and applying a feather to make the changes less obvious.
