Hi folks,

in spring long focal lenght would be a nice thing. So I did my first attempts with the 10" f/6.3 newtonian. This is a new world for me. Always used the little Pentax75.

Locaton was my balcony, exposure times alway short, done withe the Moravian G2-8300FW. Only luminance and 2x2 binning.

M104:

and after that M5, only 2x350s for each channel LRGB:

You can see the double spikes. So I made a new adjustmend next day. Than I did NGC 5850 and friends. I think it is better now.

But the distance of the coma corrector is not okay. I hope I can solve this problem too.

To work with such a focal lenght is fun but difficult. I am looking forward to the summer nights. So I can relax and work with 500mm :).

Cheers

Werner

Absolutely fantastic detail! 2x2 binning too and a minor hitch with the double spikes - plenty more detail to come!

Very interested in seeing/hearing your experiences compared to the Pentax :)
