Meade ETX 90PE

I have just received a Meade ETX 90PE and have a problem with the horizontal movement if you turn the scope it goes up and down has anyone had this happen or know how to fix it

Could you explain what you mean a bit more, or have you managed to fix it?

Hi as you spin the scope it wobbles about I think I have traced it to this nut but it just keeps coming loose again and if I put it too tight it binds the movment up

Does everything work well with that nut set to the right tension ?

If so you could try using one or two spots of Loctite (or similar epoxy) to hold it in just the right place. Remember to let it cure fully before testing.
