  1. Hello, a newbie here. I have already popped into the welcome pages and introduced myself and now hope that I am in the right place to ask a question about filters... I am using a skywatcher ed80 esprit triplet with a field flattener and at the moment I am very pleased with the focus etc, I am also using a dslr to record my images but once I have found my feet with Astro photography I will change to a designated camera with cooling the thing is I would like to try a HA filter but would rather not get one that clips into my dslr. Does anyone know anything about fixing one inline in the scope at some place, I would imagine that if it went between the camera and flattener it would ruin the focus but is it possible to fit one after the flattener and before the scope without ruining the way the scope works, I have searched on the web and YouTube for answers.. but couldn’t find a definite answer. Thanks for reading.
  2. Great place, sunny Sussex by the sea eh... I am in Ferring.
  3. I have only used it once so far and after the initial connection trouble ( wrong leads ) it was easy to use and did a good job, very compact as well
  4. Thanks for all of the welcome comments, it looks like there could be a lot of useful info and knowledgable people here... I think I am going to have to post ( hopefully in the right place ) a question about filters for my set up. 👍
