+1 for autoguiding. You “only” need a guidescope and a guiding camera. You might find both for less than 200 quid.
+1 for platesolving. I use APT which I consider easy to learn. There is a free version with almost all the features available.
You can handle all of the above with a Windows based laptop.

Any luck?
Than you for asking @AstroMuni
No errors in the log. Moreover, I've realized that when I try to process images from 2 or more sessions, none of the Steps 1 & 2 work; and the script generated by Siril IC is incomplete.
I'll ask in the Siril foum.

Looks like it was worth the wait. Nice pic Stuart.

Hi and welcome to SGL.

I would say either slightly out of focus or the spider vanes changed position between sessions (camera or OTA rotation).

Same issue here. CdC only shuts down after APT and EqMOD are killed.

You might consider upgrading the stock focuser.
Can't speak about the mount suitability.

It looks like the registration stage has failed. Maybe you need to put in some registration options like Min Star Pairs
Done and didn't help. I don't think the failure is in the registration phase since I managed to stack correctly in SiriL the already registered intermediate files from Siril IC.

Didn't see any. I'll double check tomorrow.
Thank you both!

I'm still trying to get rid of some residual coma in my images and the CC could be the cause. Do you mean this ring:

Hi and welcome to SGL.
What version of the 130 do you own, P or PDS? The focuser (and its height) is different depending on the model. If you have the 130P you could have not enough inwards travel distance to reach focus. The PDS version is designed for astrophotography, hence the shorter focuser.

What is the setting for CFA under Global properties? I have mine ticked to equalise CFA

Already checked, and the only difference is the -output_norm command. Don’t know if it can make any difference.
