Hello, soon my new EQ6 R-Pro will arrive. I am wondering if the backlash compensation, which the hand controller features, will work out for astrophotography. But does that also work, when I am guiding, or just during the goto slews? My MGEN is able to measure the backlash in DEC, but not in RA. How do you guys measure the backlash of your mount? And is the backlash constant all over the sky? If not, I thought about only correcting about 60-80% of the total Backlash to prevent over-correcting of backlash. Will that work out?
