Many thanks for the info, the kit I use when out and about usually consists of EQ5,ASI air,2 dew straps and bits and bobs which run off the ASI air. Nothing too draining but enough to run a battery flat if I make the wrong choice.
Cheers guys

Good evening
Can anybody give me some advice on what external power sources please as my trusty Skywatcher battery has given up the ghost. Have been looking at a Jackory but would like to know if they are reasonable and reliable. Main use would be when I am away from.

Hi everyone
I have recently acquired a 150pds and need some advice on coma correctors, currently using a unmodded canon 70d and have read quite a few reviews on the said item, some negative some positive. the model I have been interested in is the Baader Mark-III MPCC Coma Corrector - Photographic, but I noticed there are a couple of the skywatcher models as well. So I am after your advice as I really don't want to buy one and then find it is not all that good especially nowadays with the price of things. Any advice most welcome.
Many thanks

Hi Folks
I have just acquired a starwatcher 150 PDS and would like some advice on the best and easiest tools to carry out the collimation on it, I believe there are loads of info on you tube about this and how to do it, but having looked around all the usual suppliers there is not much advice on the best tools in regard to value for money and the ease of doing the said task.
Many thanks for your advice

I had this problem and I went for a usb extension hub with four ports, it connects into the ASIair through one of the usb ports and then gives you an extra four external ports. Got mine on Amazon.

Morning all
I have recently acquired a Canon M6 mk 1 mirrorless camera with the Eos lens adaptor, and was wondering if anybody had used this camera for astro work. I currently use a Canon 70d but this is quite heavy in comparison to the M6 which is light as a feather.
Any advice would be helpful

Have just had a reply back from ZWO and the answer it seems is a ugreen usb hub. They are about 12 pounds on amazon and mine is coming today so the proof will be in the pudding as they say. Thanks for the help

The main targets will be DSO, I have done quite a bit of research regarding this matter and |I just can't find a definitive answer. When you go to the ZWO website it shows it connected to a seperate laptop, which I felt defeated the object as I wanted to keep everything in the Asiair program. However time will tell. Thanks for the reply.

On my set up I have a Asiair which has my Dslr camera connected to it also the usb storage stick, my guiding camera and the eqmod cable to the mount. How do I connect the ZWO electronic automatic focuser ? I do not have any spare ports, Sorry if I appear a bit slow on this, all help much appreciated.
Many thanks

Hello everybody my name is Chris and I live in the English Riviera, my main hobby is photography and has been for a number of years and I have always had a passion for astronomy. I will say I am no expert but have liked to dabble and look at the wonders above. I retired this month and have decided to take my photography further by getting into astrophotography which I must admit has set me a total set of new challenges, however I have realised that you are never to old to learn. I have a canon 70d and a 6d which I am using with my Skywatcher pro set up, but due to our wonderful weather at present there has not been any clear skies of late, but heres hoping. The main problem for me at the moment is trying to get hold of an skywatcher equatorial mount, due to the virus everywhere seems to have run out of stock and nobody's sure when they will be in stock. However just one of those things to get over.
Thank you for reading my ramblings and I look forward to speaking with you in regard to all the questions I know I am going to have in the future'
Many thanks
