a car is essential but to be honest if you can find an area with no street lights away from east London, Colchester and other town areas were the cameras don’t do tooooo bad. I’m in Ig10 area and I’ve gotten some good star trails and such from my garden.  Margaret Roding as knobby said is next on my list (with knobby) all welcome 

That’s if the skies ever clear !!!

sorry to revive a VERY old post - i live in loughton - and indeed it is far to light polluted - the closest region i have found is out near Dunmow or Sawbridgeworth... hope that helps

Absolutely brilliant service.

He has helped me over the last 2 weeks and about 20 helpdesk tickets loaded with questions and has helped made my mind up about both binoculars and telescopes, and coupled with this reading material.

I cannot speak highly enough, the attention to detail is excellent and martin even sent me links to help guides on certain topics which i believe took time to write up as well.

Also they seem to be one of the cheapest suppliers around... I wish there were more companies like FLO in all other aspects of my daily life.
