  1. All, I have just taken delivery of an Ioptron CEM70G and a Williams Optics GT71 with a load of accessories. I cannot balance it. Although I am very amateur, I believe it is because: 1. the counterweight is too heavy for the scope - impossible to balance in RA 2. the scope is too short when fitted with all other accessories and accessories clash with mount - cannot balance in DEC Am I doing something stupid? Pictures attached
  2. All sorted thank you. Now the really challenge is leaning how to use the thing!
  3. Yes the link has now been fixed. It now takes you to Dropbox and not the Google drive which needed permissions. I did receive an email from Altair Astro - it had unfortunately made its way into my spam folder. For anyone attempting to download I found that neither Edge, Chrome or internet explorer would let you download as it showed up as a virus. This is even after going through and disabling all my antivirus settings I could. However, Firefox does allow the download.
  4. Unfortunately no one from Altair Astro seems to be responding, so I just have a nice purple paperweight.
  5. Thanks all. Yes this is where I am going to. If you try to actually download from there it doesn’t current give you access. Unless they have singled me out!
  6. Yes, this is the link. If I then click on the purple “Download now” it takes me to a google drive link telling me I need to request access.
  7. Good evening all, I have just bought the Altair Astro GP-CAM2 327C. The instructions tell me to go to their website and download AltairCapture. When I click on the link it takes me to a google drive page and tells me I need access. I am totally stuck. Any help welcome! Thanks in advance, Dave
