Hi ,I live in Cornwall, S W of the UK and I spend a lot of time star gazing ,usually with the naked eye or a pair of binoculars and I have just been listening to a local BBC Radio Show asking listeners if they have ever seen anything strange in the night sky ! I exclaimed that on many, many occasions I have seen giant flashes very high up in the night sky but in between these very large bright flashes I have viewed a bright object moving around erratically and the flashes vary significantly in time between them ,from a couple of seconds to maybe 10 seconds and then they slowly get dimmer and vanish ! Another listener to the programme sent me to your link and the story by Michael J Wilkinson dated 2014 elaborating exactly the same phenomena ! I thought that you would be interested in this from Steve W ,Cornwall !Best Wishes
