Hi guys! Got my issue fixed! I had to download the third party PL 2303 driver and now it works! Not sure why they don't tell you that upfront but, hey! Hello! New here and am having the exact same problem. I cannot get my telescope to connect to Stellarium or to Celestron's own computer software. I bought a 15ft USB cord to connect to computer, finally found that it is connected to COM3 but still shows "stopped" in Stellarium and won't even connect in the Celestron software. I have a Windows 10 laptop and Nexstar 127. Looking above, the last question is about the serial cable being plugged in; it is. This is really frustrating! Clear Skies.
