  1. Thanks Michael , I have seen that thread before , but still no progress here , there has to be a solution , maybe its defect or maybe its me thats defect !!! Im now getting very curios as I have checked out everything that I can think of, we will see.
  2. Hi , I have a problem with a new Synscan wifi unit , it will not connect to the mount EQ5 Pro. When I press "Connect" on the app it recognises and finds the wifi unit but it says "No Device Found". Because it finds the wifi unit I assume that "No Device Found" means it cannot find the EQ5 mount , which means the problem must be in the Black control box that sends the signals to the two stepper motors. Does this control unit have any software/firmware that has to be updated or is it all in the Synscan hand unit. Also does the WiFi unit need to be updated perhaps. The Synscan hand controller works perfectly with the mount . I have tried the short cable supplied with the WiFi unit and also the long curley cable for the hand controller with the same result In the app , the Connect Settings is set to Network. The "Find Devices" switch is on. The Location coordinates are empty but even if I fill them in it still doesnt connect. In the app , when I click on wifi settings nothing happens ! I have tried this on two different phones and a windows 10 laptop and all give the same result. Any ideas ?
