  1. The standard occurrence when there's an unusual celestial event!!!!
  2. Thanks. Got lucky with the cloud mind. Hopefully have a crack at Venus through the telescope tomorrow. Crescent must be extremely slim now.
  3. Captured in the evening sky over Harrow. Nikon D7200, 16-85mm lens at around 80mm, ISO400 and 1/3 second exposure.
  4. 127 Mak EQ3-2 with Nikon D7200. Went for ISO1600 and about 1/1000. Modern high ISO's are pretty damn noise free in general.
  5. Like this!! Nothing wrong with using post processing to give an accurate impression of what lays behind that lovely full moon :)
  6. Thanks for the assistance here. Cue a few weeks of cloudy skies as per usual when the toys come out!!!
  7. Hi Just mount the Camera and lens onto the mount. Do have a T Piece for the former. Are they available or is it one for the shed? cheers Adam
  8. Hi all First 'proper' posting. Have ordered myself a couple of drives for my MAK 127 EQ3-2. Was also thinking a good opportunity to maybe use this for my Nikon D7200 and selection of lenses too. Have a lovely 70-200 F4 and an extremely crisp 300 F4 prime. Some seriously good glass here so would be good to put them to use alongside the MAK. Does anyone know if there is an adapter produced for this? I guess it would be an angled piece of plastic/metal with a standard screw mount in the centre. Thanks Adam
  9. Hi all Thought I'd come on here as the present situation has meant a strong and healthy return of our back garden hobbies!!!!! Cheers Adam
