  1. Ok so I'm struggling to find a tripod adaptor online to fit my Skymaster 20x80 to standard tripod. Anyone else got one?
  2. Now this doesn't help me decide which to get for my first scope haha
  3. What's your preference? Reflector or refractor scopes, and why?
  4. That's a new one on me peter but makes sense 😁
  5. Yes I've adjusted that but it's still happening????
  6. Ok so the new binocs arrived this morning. One issue I'm having is that when viewing if I move my eyes whilst looking through them I see what looks like black disc shapes moving in the view from either side, depending on eye movement. Any ideas anyone?
  7. Thank you. I'll aim for a skywatcher.
  8. So with the help of members on here I've ordered some new binocs today. Now for a scope. Which of these 2 would prove the better? Skywatcher 130 EQ2. Or Celestron Astromaster 130EQ. Being brand new to scopes, any advice would be appriciated. Thanks.
  9. May be I'll go for the 25x100s at a later date.
  10. So it sounds like 20x80s would be the better bet then. How much different are they to your standard 10/50s that I own?
  11. I'd like to view as much as possible the 25x100s are priced at £300. I have no knowledge of scopes at all.
  12. Would you get a much better view with 25x100s? Is the difference worth the extra cost do you think?
  13. Thanks mark, John and Phil for your replies. I've opted for binocs because I figured they'd be better than a scope of similar price (I could be wrong). Phillip what make are your 20x80s and what can you see with them in the night sky? Thanks again guys.
  14. Think I've narrowed it down further to skymaster pro 20/80 or skymaster 25/100. Would love to hear the pros and cons of either binocs from more experienced users.
  15. Hi folks I've recently been looking at upgrading my old 10/50s. I've been looking at these orion 20/80s Omega 20/80s Skymaster 20/80s Orion 20/80s And finally some skymaster 25/100s. Has anyone owned any of these and what are your thoughts on quality and best for night sky viewing. Many thanks.
