  1. Thanks for replies. I’d imagine in the short term my alignment will be a bigger issue, but thought I’d best check now rather than find out down the road that I also had quality probs. Either way it’ll be an upgrade over 18sec exposures!
  2. Just bought a Star Adventurer, and looking forward to using it. The polar scope is out of alignment out of the box, but I see how to fix that despite the less than clear manual. This forum already helpful there. I ran an accuracy check with a laser pointer on the wall, and if I understand it right should come back to the starting point after 23:56:04. Instead, it took 24:03. So either I'm unclear on the time it should take for a rotation, or I've got a motor that is 7 minutes slow. I'm wondering if that disparity is large enough that I should worry/warranty, or if I'm just off on understanding. I figured I'd start up a new thread since the last I find on this is years old. Thanks in advance!
