  1. My dear friends. First of all , I wanna recommend you to check properly the cable you plug to charge the battery. I didn’t and a few seconds after began to produce a horrible black smoke, I throw it in the garden and flushed water from the hoss. Got scary!

im thinking about getting this one

    https://us.ecoflow.com/products/river-portable-power-station

but I’d like to know if this 288w that claims would  be MUCH more than the skywatcher 17 ha. In my vast electric knowledge 17 ha * 12 v of the skywatcher gives 204 w. Is that correct?

so, would the eco flow just give me 80 w more?  In uK it’s 3 times the prize…..

    thanks

  2. I think I got it, I could see it with the eyepiece. I took a few photos playing with different times. The best I got its when there was a cloud passing through. Its that small black dot on the right base, But checking in internet says theres no sunspots today......

did I hunt it? or it was mi imagination?

  3. Hello there!

I sent sysncan to be fixed because a problem. Since they returned I had no time to use it. Yesterday I uploaded last version and today....

    1. Ask me is im in northern sky, northeast.........never asked me that......with the coordinates, should be enough, isn't it?

    2. when align to ONE star, only has Vega, can't change it!

    3. When aligning to two stars, I can choose BUT, it says I HAVE TO focus in that star( the first one), the second it moves by itself. Before, I had to point Polaris and it moved to the first and the second....

anyone with this problem? is again sysncan broken?

    thanks

  4. I’m a completely newbie that bought a go to expecting to write the name of the galaxy and be able to see it in the middle of the eyepiece. That’s what I thought. But is much more complicated than that. Much more.
and due has electric pieces, can break ( mine is being fixed  right now)

anyways, the goto can be used manual if you get desperate, so , personally I’d go again with a go to, but keep in mind it’s not as magic as you can think

  5. HI Wornish,

whats the point about focusing in other object with different size-light-distance?

the camera focus with the zoom as I can do lunar photos. the problem is that I don't know how to get something fainter

was asking for some advice) probably im doing something wrong.....

    thanks

  6. Hello,

yesterday had m31 in the middle of my eyepiece( zoom Baader). Put the canon with the help of an adaptor and through  the camera I couldn’t see anything. Played with the different mm( 7 to 24) but in live view I always saw black. Played with the focuser of the telescope( 130pds) and nothing. Live view all black. Took 30 sec iso 3200 and photo is all black.

andromeda was still there as I removed canon and checked again.

what I’m doing wrong? Camera can get focus as I took lunar photos before with good detail.

    thanks

  7. Im in the same platform than you "Skywatcher the troublemaker".

At the moment I haven't aligned the mount any time, and im sure where polaris is.......im on holidays soon, so ill take it with time....( look for a post with my name " im giving up", there are good advice there...)

I can track the moon/sun, for a few minutes, after goes out the eyepiece..... if I don't use the track option, it disappear from the eyepiece sooner, much sooner....so, it works, but nor for hours as I was expecting...

with all the mounts sold, I think they should do a masterclass for us....
