my m8 is using tripier adapter for CEM40 - on his GEM45 and fits perfectly - i would say - base template is the same for IEQ30 / CEM40 and for yours GEM45
-
...Altair Wave? - call Ian at Altair - he would help you out.. and if you have to have special adaptor made: ( i've used them 3 times now )- TS-Optics or RVOis the place.
Other thing - mesure up the tube OD, call one of the dealers (FLO?) and either: they will find an adaptor for you. - or directly form FT

Amazing!!
OpenAstro tracker - you can buy a kit from this guy:
The price 120 Euro includes:
- Arduino Uno + 16×2 LCD shield
- 2x 28BYJ steppers + driver boards
- 7 bearings
- Screws and nuts
- bubble level
- timing belt
- Material cost for over 30 printed parts, with 50 hour print time
- packaging
- sales tax
This is great step forward in Amateur Astro - home made 3d printing machine run on Arduino - and he built himself this:!!!?
One day it will be so easy to print anything you like!! Friction mount? - no problem....few hr later MESU mk17 ....and ready to go

Ive used Atik 16200 in high ambient temperatures with very steep time decline : minus 30 deg in several minutes and - yes it got very noisy but never shaky...i've had EEF2.2 and SX Fwheel on ML focuser (check yours)...all very rigid.
-
... and the winner was : Rowans - 2 weeks waiting time.... Unfortunately i couldn't find anybody who would do it cheaper or quicke - i am happy with that
I tell you what : i've had an online quote: £1960...!!!! fair enough, i did say no

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.
I have Solar PV panels on my house so all electric is solar when the sun shines, so charging any sort of portable power tank isn't a problem.
I'll definitely look into the cost of storage; deep cycle batteries Vs the more fashionable Solar generators. I've also seen some Lithium based mobility scooter batteries on eBay which might do the trick as well. 🤓
Gel batteries m8. i am building my rig now with 60AH...
Have a look in there:

You are not alone - I've bought EQ6 tripod without AZ pin - sawn off - 2" for £60 few weeks back. I wanted make sure it is 2". as i wanted for my AZEq5. As i was rushing - i've paid as a /;; Family through PayPal and that was it!!!
When arrived it was 1.75" - when i've confronted the seller he said that it is not his fault as to his knowledge it is 2" !!!!!hahaha i couldn't stop laughing!!!! what a ***** - so now another tripod in the garage as when i looked into SCC it was too much for me to ..
I dont want to sound bad but now, if the seller is not responding it will be difficult to make him to give you any refund. Always register as :" paid for goods transaction with PayPal" - never friends and family!!! If you are selling - include the 3.5% in your price!
If you've paid $50 by PP - there will be - his ID/Nam or address online somewhere .... always is, once you get his address you can go for SCC.

Price is way above what I was expecting too... cem120 £3200, cem70 £2650, cem 60 £1700..
Wonder how does it feel, out of the box..... what is the finish like...
It looks like all the prices goning up? Will they raise the price for cem120, to keep £1k difference between?!!!:)
