    Thank you for the information! Very helpful. I just returned the Baader Mark iv zoom eyepiece .I can’t believe after so many good quality stuff Baader to produce so bad mechanically zoom eyepiece.

    Hi everybody, I just received my new Baader Mark iv zoom eyepiece and I noticed that the eyecup rotating with the zoom ring when I change the magnifications.Is this normal for this eyepiece as my Celestron zoom rotate only the magnification ring ,but not the eyecup . I wonder if I connect it to my camera how the camera will rotate also.....or if I use winglet eye shield cup. Any advises please. Thanks Dimitre

    Hi Tom,

    It is impossible to install anything on Celestron Regal zoom eyepiece as it is specialy designed for the Celestron spotting scope and inside the nosepiece there is no thread.

    This is done to allow the mechanism inside to move further out to reach a focus.
