  1. @MalcolmP thank you so much I was playing for days with this, itnwas nerve racking, and then by S. Holmes logic, if we have exactly the same settings here, issue must be on another place, so I have searched and searched and remembered that I clicked Auto debayer option.

As soon I have disabled that solver did its job in 1.5s.

Thank you so much on your help I would have palyed with this settings for months I think haha.

Now, I got 18.98 SQM. I have also made home made arduino SQM and I am eger to test it and compare!

  2. Hi,

I just found this! Although I do use astap on my astroberry that version does not have this awesome feature. Bit as it would have it, something does not work on my end. I am trying to solve and get data using Dwarf2 smart telescope, but D50 base does not seem to be able to solve it, despite being a quite wide field.  Here is fits.

I did try those tips and tricks

  3. Some time ago I purchased Stellarium app, and then they removed that app or what and basically canceled the app, and then rereleased it and I lost my purchase, assy move if you ask me.

But I do not kind as I am more than happy with Sky Safari 6 Plus, it is great, i connect my telescopes to it( OnStep and Dwarf 2 using adapter app) it works as a charm, it has observing lists, object highlight fov indicators and loads of other stuff. Good mature app.

  4. There is ZWO Seestar S50 now in as well.

It has narrower FOV, it is more competition to Vespera than to Dwarf, but at Dwarf price. Dwatf is Undoubtedly better for daytime use due to wide camera and wider FOV, also for those few big targets on night as well, but for most night targets Seestar is better option.

Dwarf sales will no doubt take a hit, but I do not know why would anyone buy vespera after this goes out.

Here are some images done with  ZWO Seestar 1682450965617.thumb.jpg.c0cf9891bdac7e422e47eeb0734a613d.jpg1682450961892.thumb.jpg.2e881abdf0f5d8c72435e0d27061a5c5.jpg1682450957481.thumb.jpg.652fce29876a49c28796614c0efb9b0a.jpg

  5. I went around home and picked all wall chargers I have and checked voltage with my water pipe :

    OnePlus charger 0V

    Realme Charger 0v

    Dell Laptop 0V

    Some 65W usbc 0V

    Xiaomi Charger 45V

    Samsung Charger 45V

    Official Raspberry Pi charger 85V

    +Class usb Charger 85V

    12V Mount power supply 65V

    24V mount power supply 65V

So all in all it is possible to isolate currents in small package, but makers are cheap!

  6. I am having exactly the same issue, I swapped Chinese PSU for relativelly expensive local psu, ended up being basically the same on the inside. You can test it with electrician screwdriver/tester, it glows a bit.

And I use shelly smart switch, that switch cuts of just one line, and in Europe you can rotate as you wish. So if you rotete it "incorrectly" and live wire iz not cut off, it zaps even more.

  7. Few more works with dwarf2

M46 and M47 300x4s stacked in Dwarf2, edited in Lightroom mobile, and just Background Extraction done in siril I tried to extract star colors here.

  8. Ok I just see in a last post I forgot to upload images and ended up being a fool.

So regarding import taxes in EU, I was said as a kickstarter everything will be covered. But it was not, I had to pay, but dwarf sortof compensated me.

Mguess is you should count on import taxes.

Regarding addons, only magnetic filter adapter should be bought. Then you can source filters from where ever.

If you plan to watch the sun, take ND filters straight away from them, although you can source them later as well.

  10. I tried to image medusa nebula few days ago from light polluted area, it is rewarding too see something!

Also I have  one of most custom setups on one hand (custom telescopse, custom mount - onstep) and on other hand dwarf, telescope that has been where big setup has never been and will never be.

  11. Welly when I ordered this on Kickstarter I had very very simple calculation.

Take most affordable, and most portable setup.

Dwarf is size of binoculars and costed me 290 USD as super early bird.

Most adorable + portable setup would be

Tripod - 50USD, some old EOS M that can connect to PC or Rpi or astrocam - 150 USD, Some acceptable lens - 100 USD, skytracker ~ 200 USD, raspberry pi for Platesolving and capture 50 USD

Would weight double, take tripple space, cost at least double and it is fiddly to setup.
