Can anyone explain after removing stars, with StarXterminator and Photoshop 2022, and processing nebula how do I put the stars back. It is not clear on the website and cant find any referance on how to recombine.
Thanks a lot, Fay

Really lovely Dave. Love them all for what each one is. Being that you always said you were "basically lazy" Im amazed you climbed all the way up there!!!!!!

Well you did ok Dave. Nice you enjoyed doing them. Varied shots considering you were creeping about in dodgy ground in the dark!!

I lost my QSi info in Astroart, and had to reinstall, i have spent hours trying to get the internal filter wheel to open, but greyed out and not available for selection on the filter wheel part. most other makes are mentioned but not QSI internal filter. If I press Ascom filter wheel. QSI ccd comes up but the OK key does not respond. please has anyone any clues??
all this started when I connected a modified DSLR to Astroart. all QSI info disappeared, thats why I had to reinstall it from the beginning. always used QSI with Astroart for years and no problems. I fear this is a QSI problem, and there could be problems with other capture programs when using QSI ccd.
Thanks

When my SX M7 camera was plugged into the power brick, the light went off. I tried plugging into a battery via the orange connector/cigarette cable and also via invertoer into 12amp ca battery. Same results. The brick was very hot & the metal adaptor at the end of the camera cable was also very hot.
Sent a mail to Terry platt, & could not believe he answered straight away.
He gave me a couple of things to try out, one which involded taking the back off the camera & unplugging the white connector to see if the brick light came on in this mode. It did come on but was flickering as I moved the cable about.
It was so good of Terry to help me out, especially on a sunday. I will be sending the camera back plate off to Starlight Xpress, as Terry thinks that the round connector, on the back, may have an internal short.
Excellent service, thanks

I bought my DMK camera from Optic Star, a while ago, now out of guarantee time. I had a problem with it & Optic Star, said to send it back to them, they would have a look & if problem could not be found, they would send it on to Imaging Source, I think the maker is called.
The people at Optic Star are always so polite & helpful, I have noticed it before in the past, they are always constant & willing to help. Again, very good for after sales, which is so important for us, & will always help with a problem
