Not to mention sea mist I was at the
top of the red field one year at Kelling when a sea
mist rolled in you could not see past
half way down the red field and the mist left everything soaking wet

Depends on how much you need the fine focusing cr2 moonlight when you can get a cr1 moonlight For £200.00 including fiting kit which would cost a £150.00 less

Giro mini on a Meade giant tripod can duel mount a 120 frac and an Orion 8 inch reflector (but not a skywatcher way to heavy) at the same time very solid picture of mount with both scopes attached total weight 13 kg I have observed with this set op and it works fine even at 5 kg over max load of 8 kg.

The way I see it is this if you observe when you want to and not because you feel you have to
you. / I will enjoy the observing that you do more as you have a more relaxed frame of mind
observing when you want to and. Not through some obligation as you may have other priorities

Clear skies hear to which is a bit of a supprise as it has rained all day , managed a.couple of hours observing first
for a while still clear out but time for bed

Parted after first contact allowing us to observe the full eclipse very lucky really as 10 miles either way they had wall cloud and rain
