  1. NEQ6 polar scope, may also fit the HEQ5 according to several retailers. I'd like £20 for this plus £2.95 for RM Second Class postage. Payment by paypal only. This is also advertised on astrobuysell.
  2. As the title says. I'd prefer the RA version, not the one that does both axes. I only use paypal for small payments. I'm in the UK.
  3. Not a lot, like a small newtonian, although I'm fairly set on the EQ3.
  4. Fastar in place. It's pretty simple if you haven't used one before. Unscrew the collar that goes around the secondary mirror, pull secondary out and place it mirror holder (included), put the fastar in the hole, screw the collar back, attach camera with nosepiece into 1.25" hole in fastar.
  5. I'm interested in the Vixen 2.1x42mm or perhaps the Kasai 2.3x40mm, but not interested enough to buy a new pair. Thanks
  6. Hopefully I get a picture of the fastar in place tomorrow. It takes a normal 1.25" nosepiece so I'd imagine your atik would attach with a regular T2 nosepiece.
  7. OK I'm going to have get organised. I'm doing a first come first served system so you've got your marker down for the mount. You say you've got cash - does that mean you can collect it in person?
  8. I could probably get some close ups tomorrow. If you're interested let me know what you'd like a closer look at.
  9. Yes and yes but someone messaged me earlier who may well take it.
  10. I am just not getting enough time to justify the money I have tied up in this setup, but more importantly than that, it's got too complicated and I'm missing out on the simple pleasures of astronomy. To this end, I'm scaling down in quite a big way. So here's the stuff I want to go: C8 with Losmandy D series bar, lockable focuser, basic visual back and (free) dewshield £420 NEQ6 pro, hand controller, tripod (basically never used) boxed £650 SOLD Fastar for C8. Never seen one for sale before £120 SOLD QHY8L cooled colour CCD with TEC cooler, power supply, dissicant tube and relevant cables £650 NEQ6 belt mod, installed for one day before a firmware problem meant the mount went back for replacement, then put back in box £80 SOLD JMI motofocuser for C8, boxed £100 Celestron focal reducer, boxed £65 SOLD ADM mini dovetail & guidescope rings kit for C8, 125mm rings £100 Baader 10x60 illuminated reticle finderscope with rings and all the accessories that come with, boxed £120 SOLD 8" Astrozap dew heater tape £25 Celestron 2" to T2 adapter, boxed £8 Baader universal photo adapter. Comes in two parts: female 4SE/C90/Meade EXT to male 2". Second part is female 2" to male T2, boxed £28 Bahtinov mask for C8 £8 SOLD Lynx Astro FTDI EQDIR cable £22 SOLD None of the prices include postage but that can be negociated. Of course viewing in person is welcome near Northampton. Photos available on request. Also, I'm looking for EQ3 pro synscan and I would consider part ex. Thanks
  11. Hi, are you still looking for a finderscope? I've got the 10x60 Baader one - it will attach directly to your steeltrack. All boxed with with rings and everything - it comes with loads of accessories. £120 + p&p.
  12. The dark column is indeed the overscan margin - nothing to worry about there. I literally had no idea focal reducers had to be spaced properly, I though you just screwed them on. I'll have to get the ruler out and see what I can dig out, spacer wise.
