  1. Maybe I should think about using camera lenses and DSLR for astro imaging in the UK, seems a waist having so much invested in CCD's and scopes only to use less than 10x per year? anyone?

      i'm a great believer in following your interests as far as you can or your pocket allows! Even owning a few scopes in this country is likely to make you think of giving up but I say stick with it,I haven't had one good session this year,it's always been cloudy/raining but I'm not selling up!!!

  3. Need a scope for £200 ive been looking at eq mounts but what about the 150p on a dop hmmm looks like it will hurt my back

      or put the mount on a sturdy box so standing is easier,works well with my Skywatcher 250,sitting is a waste of time for me,and my bum gets cold!!!
