CELESCOPE

Been a bit long finding mine lol , back in 2003 i think when i realy started in a proper fashion ,not sure which comet this was , i know i took it with my SLR piggy backed on the c8 i think at the time , the moon image was A focal and one of my many done that way ,GOT IT COMET HYAKUTAKECheers

i always use my ha as the luminance anyway Steve .

Thats excellent Martin , and i,m sure will be a really big help for those starting out with their thoughts to LRGB, a lot of work put in by yourself as regards to this , even i may use it , well maybe ,i,m a lazy git , One shot bam wham , but great work Martin

the celestron 6.3 should work a treat steve and hopefully giving a pretty good flat field.

yes its pain i know , but it will soon be sorted ,and then i can when finished imaging , just close the door and retire to bed , and no more packing away hehehehehheh

Well at last the dome arrived , all excited , and watched the guys starting to assemble it piece by piece , seems like this is a new modified dome which comes in sections , up it went ,grand stuff , 4 hrs later , Hmmm somethings wrong , after a while got the bad news , the brackets holding the rollers for the dome top are not right , holes in the wrong place and brackets wrong as well , so on to the factory to make a new set of brackets , 3 daywait , so Dome all fixed roof locked, and dome weather proofed , but sadly ole Rog cant get to use it , have taken pics as it went up section by section ,but will wait till its all done ,then i will do a little review ,

Huge thanks on that Martin, i know just how long that must have taken , a lot of hard work , and i,m sure ppl on here as they progress in their imaging will be delighted to have these to look back on , great stuff , i know i will try one of them , which is new to me ,
