Could do with some advice. Maybe Astrobaby can assist here? Saw a strip down on your website. The telescope mount that is. My son's been swinging on the polar shaft of my Tal 1 which I just bought yesterday. The lattitude adjustment joint now has play on it and it does not lock properly. Can imagine the tube slowly sliding one way or another if the weight is not balanced properly. The friction on the clamp lever is not firm now ubless O tighten really hard. Fortunately it was not a brand new scope but still, it hurts to see it this way so soon. Any ideas how to get a more firm and easy lock on it? Also hunting for a motor drive for it if anyone knows where.

I have a Lumix TZ5 and was thinking something along the lines of Baader Planetarium Baader Micro Stage II Sorry that just pasted too big. No promotinal intention there. Anyone tried this? Is it too flimsy or not practical?

Does anyne know of a 1/4 inch threaded piggyback adapter to fit the Celestron Omni 127 SCT tube? Its is the blue tube in the celestron range. Also looking for a good camera adapter/brace to do digicam astrophotography. Message me if you have for sale or can offer any advice. Thanks, Saif
