  1. Hi Peter, On mine there are Five screws that hold the panels on, mine is an older model but I don't think the new ones are any different. With the panel off you can see the gearbox and worm drive, you should also see Four wires coming up from the base, on older models like mine they are soldered into the circuit board, on newer models there is a little plug attached to the four wires and that plugs into the circuit board. All I really need is the little plug with a short length of wire left on it so I can solder it on to my existing wire. If yours is the plug type and you no longer require it I would be interested in obtaining it in exchange for some beer tokens. Many thanks...Colin..

  2. You are not far off mate, the photo is of the Dec (I think) in the base, what I am after is the little plug that plugs into the circuit board for the other motor that drives the OTA. On my old one there are Four wires that come up into the fork mount and are soldered onto the circuit board, the new G/Box has Four pins on the circuit board to accommodate a plug. I want to unsolder the wires from the old circuit board, resolder a plug on to the Four wires so I can plug it into the new circuit board. But I will also need to know the order of the colours.  Hope this makes sense. Colin..

  3. I have managed obtain a new gearbox for my ETX125. It's the newer type that just plugs in, I could just swop the internals but would rather use the new board if possible. on my ETX there are Four wires coming out of the base and soldered in to the circuit board, the new type has a plug that plugs into the new board, if I could get a plug I could solder it on and just plug it in but I would need to know the order of the wires. Can any one help with this ? cheers Colin..
