Hi, i took the shot with my Canon 6D, it is one of the best out there for low light sensitivity. The lens is a Samyang F1.4 24 mm, wide open at ISO 3200, 20 sec single exposure.  Taken on a standard photographic tripod. 

Very early days in my astrophotograpy quest. I also took some decent photos of the eclipse using the same method.  I will upload when i have a chance.  Looking forward to upgrading to DSLR in the future, but really enjoying what i am doing now with this budget camera.
