Moon March 2015 012

Planet X

I took this last night with my bargain cheap compact Panasonic Lumix (£25 Ebay). I used candlelight setting and held it to the 40mm standard Celestron eyepiece which came with my CPC 800. Just above the terminator you can see the Apollo 17 landing site near the crater Vitruvius.

Very early days in my astrophotograpy quest. I also took some decent photos of the eclipse using the same method.  I will upload when i have a chance.  Looking forward to upgrading to DSLR in the future, but really enjoying what i am doing now with this budget camera.
