Thanks for your reply. I did not know that, I only used the site today first time. Will take a look. Thanks again

Hi all, as the weather was clear last night I decided to try and capture Nova Cas 2021. I took some images and when I put this into Astrometry website it showed some stars like Cas4, etc and looking at images on sites it shows it close to that star and in the region. I am trying to understand the images and I think I might see it but it might just be a star and not the nova. Any help would be appreciated to see if I have captured it would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, have been a member here for a while but not posted recently as life got in the way. So I am jumping on the Comet Neowise train and posting pics of it as seeing it with my own eyes was great after seeing my last comet in 1997, Hale-Bopp. So here are some pics from July 11th up in the South Wales Valleys. Thanks for viewing

I also will be joining the 130PDS club. I ordered one this morning from Astroboot for £110. There was 2 on there this morning. Just waiting for it to turn up now.

I just heard this a few minutes ago, a very big loss to the Astonomy community. R.I.P

My knobs will twist off on my SW 130p Goto scope. And this 2" R+P focuser is the same that is fitted to a Celestron 130slt Goto I think, as if you look on the forums I posted about this about 2 years ago and someone posted a pic of a 130 slt focuser and this accepted the autofocuser straight out of the box as it is a R+P focuser.
I am going to try it one day and see if it fits.

Just want to say a big thanks to FLO for my replacement tripod leg. The leg arrived today via fed ex, and I think this really good of them considering I was out of warranty. Thanks to James for dealing with it for me.

Hey, well here is my 1st DSO imaged on 11/02/10, I just love M42, and am happy to catch some of it on film:
Hopefully I can get another clear night soon, so I can have another attempt at it using longer exposure and hopefully my bahitov mask to get good focus.

Would just like to add my thanks to FLO. I had a problem with one of my tripod leg on the skywatcher, and Sorted me out with a replacement leg and had a call from him to say they were sending it out and might be a bit longer with the star party.
However, he got it out wednesday and I got it Thurs, so a big thumbs up to steve and FLO for such a great and wonderful service.

Had my Skywatcher Explorer 130 Syncscan goto from FLO. Ordered at 1 pm Thursday, turned up at 10:30 am today (Friday). The only problem with the scope was that the bar which the operates the focuser was bent so it was turning uneven and not smooth.
I managed to bend the focuser bar gently so I could get it straighter, and I have managed to get it working now, but I might give steve a ring Monday to see if he can help me out with a replacement focuser for the scope. But otherwise the delivery was superb and the scope seems really nice.
Did I manage to capture Nova Cas 2021 in this pic?
