Lovely day today the sky is clear, good conditions, coffee time, quick view before the work begins through 40mm PST grab and go set up at 66X . Faint prominences on the limb and smooth granulations.

Thank you for the nice feedback. I wish I could have one f7 triplet 130mm !!! My planetary scope is a Mak 102mm f13.... delivers wonderful images I must say  on the sidewalk and show to the people the planets, double stars,Moon...sidewalk astronomy. Just watching not observing...for fun! I will try.

Monday 11/11/19 Transit Mercury. 

Come to see a planet passing in front of the Sun!
There was no time for something better. My grab and go set up PST 40mm on a new mount!
The sun was quiet. Nice granulation and very low activity on the disc line.

I'm using black pencils on white paper (printing A4), blending stump,charcoal,chalks, pencil pens, brushes, scanned to becomes black / PC photoshop +- brightness - contrast  etc.
