These images are captures taken during near real time viewing of the Comet Lovejoy with the SX Lodestar X2c and an Orion 50mm mini guide scope at f3.2 (162mm).

These captures were made during a near real time viewing session using a small 50mm finder scope and a Lodestar X2 mono camera equipped with narrow band Ha filter. The scope has a focal length of 180mm that allows viewing of large emission nebulae such as California, heart and Soul and Rosette. Using such a small scope does create field curvature problems at the edges and corners, but still presents a nice view of the DSO.
