Youβre an observant person, Louis, to pick up on this only from comparingΒ UK posts.
And Iβm sure we can now agree that it is a mixture of so many factors. I think the changeable, unpredictable weather (yes, even in Scotland π¬!) plays a large part. From what I gather there are many amateur astronomers who practise their art in big US cities. Settled weather and being able to plan ahead is a boon.Β
Quick edit: I do know itβs not always settled weather in the US!!
