    Welcome. Glad you said hello. Seems to be a few folks from our area checking in recently. It certainly can’t be any prevalence of clear skies that’s caused the influx ...

    If you’re up for some company - including some experienced AP enthusiasts (I’m visual only) - check out Aberdeen Astronomical Society. Online only at present, of course, but we’re friendly folks. 🙂

    All that and a beer on the base ... what’s not to like?! 👍

    I know the feeling of being overwhelmed by the sheer number of stars - unfortunately, too infrequently. ☹️ (Cairngorms under canvas. Feels like a thousand years ago.)
