It sure was - brilliant clear skies - the seeing was good too. Our viewing site is excellent - a full 360deg horizon to horizon uninterrupted by anything. The highlight of the evening was seeing Tuc 47 through the 14" dob in the foreground - it was absolutely stunning - so clear and so many stars.
