SkyTee-2 arrived with the extension pillar, and had a quick set up for the ST2. It felt super sturdy and strong. Seems it will perform well with long and heavy OTAs.

Feels quite secure, the StarTravel 150 OTA with finderscope, star prism diagonals and EP weighs about 10kg (I think). It was pointing to the Zenith for about 30 minutes, and no problems. Rock solid. -

I am thinking of some type of observatory, but it is quite tricky to decide what type to go for. Right now just in the back garden open space - a bit of job to set the scopes and put them away. -
Both Dob and EQ have their strength and weakness.
