Coming on really good, looking forward to see the end result

Such a special person, wish i could of met him. I received my signed book back today that i have had since i was about 10 and sent to Patrick only three weeks ago. little did i know he was quite so ill, and he still managed to sign this book for me. Truly one of a kind we will miss you.

Lets hope you are up there finding all the answers to all your questions and doing so with your good wife.

So very sad to here about his passing, he will be missed by so so many people R.I.P Sir Patrick Moore, You will live on in the hearts of all that followed you. And inspired me into astronomy as a child Thanks. :icon_salut:

This thread has given me some food for thought on the planning of my observatory, all this and that is just for the roof wow. i think it could take some time to do mine. but hopefully will be worth it..
