Im using the 2600mm on a Newton 200 f5 and a friend of mine on a c9 with a focal reducer. We did both m81 last winter. On the c9 your could still see some extra details. Under the belgium sky I would think the sweet spot on good nights is around 1300mm FL

I thought of getting one for my Esprit, but was put off because apparently when using one, it won't fully illuminate the field of a full frame sensor, the 44mm imaging circle being reduced by 0.77x to 34mm.
John
The plan is to use it with the zwo 2600mm , 33mm will do the job but no pictures to find with these small pixels. You use it with your 6D?

Any users around using the reducer in the esprit 150? There is not much info around.
thx

NINA has everything and much more than SGP, the development is fast paced, the community is super fast to respond to queries on Discord and it's free. I was a long time user of SGP until last year, the lack of or very slow development and poor stability made me try NINA and it's changed my imaging.

Sure I'm happy with the outcome. About the spikes, it is a newton with curved spiders. They are shorter but thicker. Star reduction is next on the doto list

With the lack of good weather I have spend a lot of time in reading stuff about processing and reprocessing and ended up with a new version of M51.
This is data from nearly 1 year ago.

That is a beautiful m101. I would be interested to see what equipment was used and capture details.
I added the data.

You will never have a full frame reducer for an esprit. It is 34 = 44x0.77. For the price it is a good deal. If the stars are fine in the corners i don´t see an issue. Good job SW.

Little update by adding some sharpness to the image. See 1st post. Best to see in full resolution.

Well done!

With the actual small pixels you are fine with 1m FL. More is oversampling most of the time.
