I have the Synscan not the pro version as I only use the handset my phone does not last long if I use the wi fi mode. I also got a cross hair eyepiece which came a few days ago. so I will try again . not sure where the how to fix the counterweight to as there is no attachment point.

I bought a skywatcher AZ GTi with mount right from the start could not get it to work. Followed the manual. Alignment successful . I used my phone with the WiFi tried to find an object but could not see it in my 73mm scope thinking I did it wrong I bought a handset and lead for £167 still did not work. I uploaded the latest version for the hand set alignment was still not right. Then bought a crosshair recital for £56 hoping I would get it right and be able to see it in the scope. lost interest in it now WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE LOAD OF RUBBISH.

Hi I have a Skywatcher AZ GTi and having problems with it. I level the tripod with a 15 cm level set the scope to north and level . I only have 2 star alignment or bight star alignment . I choose Polaris as my first star then Capella as my second star . Then do all the set up long lat hight time date then it tells me I am successful. I put in say M42 it slews to my object but it is not correct it is not pointing at it but a few degrees off .I got in contact with First Light Optics where I bought it from and they said try a 3 star alignment as synscan does not have it where can and how I can download it. I use a TS Optics 73 mm telescope so there no weight problem. I got this in October 2018. can anyone help please. Thanks John.
