  1. hi mike still imaging ? not seen you post on flickr in a while

  2. Monday and Tuesday were clear so decided to revisit M45 & M33. 40 x 180s exposures @ ISO800 totalling 120 minutes with my Canon 500D and Skywatcher Evostar 120ED
  3. Thanks guys. I use Microsoft Ice to stitch the panes together. It does a pretty good job most of the time.
  4. Forecast was clear for the early the early hours of Thursday morning so set the alarm and got up to do a few moon mosaics. Skywatcher Explorer 300PDS DMK21AU618 camera
  5. Thanks everyone. Jake if the sky ever clears again I'll be having a go at a full disk but i'll probably get lost midway and miss a big chunk out.
  6. Thanks for you comments guys, really appreciate it.
  7. Had a few clear nights during the week so decided to image the edges of M31 and create a mosaic with the central region I imaged last week. Canon 500D DSLR and Skywatcher Evostar 120ED with 0.85 focal reducer. Total exposure for 3 panes combined is 8hrs 18min all at 180sec - Iso 800
  8. Seeing was quite stable that night and I was using an infrared pass filter that helps.
  9. Thanks for that Daniel I'll start switching the LCD display off. I only cropped the edges to tidy up where the camera was rotated a few degrees different over the two nights.
