Saturn on 18th June 2012. Seeing poor - London boiling sky From 1 min of Canon 1100D movie. Use of eyepiece projection using 30mm extension tube on Seben zoom at 8mm. -

This is another atempt at imaging Saturn. Celestron 6SE with Baader Hyperion Zoom - 8mm using the T-thread connection Canon EOS 1100D in movie mode Seeing poor usual boiling atmosphere of roof tops in London. Getting the best resolution out the 1100D is the goal. -

Date 28th May 2012 - warm moist boiling air so focus not great - collimation done through star diagonal not with straight through from the visual back - so could be better. First image of the moon taken with Celestron 6SE using the Seben zoom at 24mm. Image from 1min of HD movie taken with canon 1100d. Processed through registax.
